Hendrik “Henry E.” was the sixth child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walvoord. He was born on June 8, 1875.

He married Johanna “Annie” Lemmenes on September 21, 1899. They lived in Sheboygan for a time and then lived in Milwaukee until 1914 when the family moved to a farm in the Scott Township of Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.

Both of them were members of that Sunday School. They both attended an Adult Bible Class in Batvia (west of Cedar Grove). Henry’s father, attended this class the Sunday before his death.
Henry E. did not smoke, nor did he use liquor. Annie said he like sweets. She was an excellent cook and baker.
