Jim is the son of the late James Garret Walvoord (1921-1997) and Zora Lucile (Morgan) Walvoord (1921-2010). Jim and Sara have two children. John Christian Walvoord of San Antonio, Texas and Kristy Alice (Walvoord) Franta of Austin, Texas.
